STYLING YOUR THANKSGIVING TABLE

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” (Oprah Winfrey)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope that this post helps you get some ideas for your own thanksgiving table, but most of all I hope you can find gratitude, joy and love in the situation you are in and people who are around you.

There are a lots of different ways your can style your thanksgiving table. Three things I thought about was layering, colour and scenting.

LAYERING

Its good to layer different textures and elements, I kept my my thanksgiving table very minimal and added texture and depth through natural wicker placemats with rosemary down the centre. Wood slices placed as a small centre piece are great because you can add fun items like the squashes but also a carafe or bottle of wine. Other items that you could use to add texture is a table runner and or a faux garland down the centre.

COLOUR

I chose natural elements with the wooden candle holders and natural placemats, alongside a more modern brass/copper candle holders. I would have loved to place some vintage silverware or brass silverware which would have added to this aesthetic, thats definitely something on my Christmas list.
